| TOT
Talent Oriented Teaching
|
TOT is a program towards talent oriented teaching. The TOT program implies a process. In this process teachers acquire resources and information, process them and expand their repertoire on their talents and how their teaching could be affected positively. The program requires every teacher to move beyond surface, to dig deeper and unleash the own talents. The TOT program goes for giving teachers expanded capabilities to view things from different perspectives. The key to developing our talents is addressing the question of who we are before the question of what we do and afterwards, to integrate both. | Vivian Suárez

| What
to observe when you are observing!
|
Where does the
action take place in a school? In the classroom! So, visiting classrooms
is a must for every coordinator! But generally speaking, teachers are not
open to it, mainly because they see observation of classes as a threatening
situation. Carried out in the right way, classroom observation is a blessing
to professional development. So, how can we make our teachers more aware
of its importance? The purpose of this session is to help teachers see class
observations as a powerful tool that can help them become even better teachers
by reflecting on their own teaching. Observation forms will be shared and discussed as well as information on how to hold post observation conferences. |
